Application UNIBZ - Anti climate change campaign

This project was part of the application workshop for the uni Bolzano. The homework was, to create a campaign for Trump. In his opinion climate change does not exist – so we should have created a "pro anticlimate" poster/mascot/logo and slogan.

The project had some interesting aspects. I needed to change my perspective and take the arguments of the climate deniers. I came to the question if I basically would work for a employee like this – I do not stand behind the aims of the campaign. I do not support overexploitationon nature.
The poster, as an information poster, is conceived as part of a series designed to promote the image of the raw materials and consumables under criticism, also adding a surprising scientific fact according to the motto "Did you know...".
Only through positive statements, I have conveyed a positive image to the target group.
With the poster presented, the scientific fact "The release of aerosols during the combustion of fossil fuels since the beginning of mankind has cooled the atmosphere by a constant 8-14%.
Conceivable are, like the depicted "Fossil fuels are cooler or better", but also "Plastic is clean" for preserving food, "Coal makes beautiful" for reshaping landscapes etc.
In words as in the picture, it should always be about a positive view, which is supported by the blue sky with clean white clouds and sunshine.
The mascot in combination with the slogan makes an appeal to a nuclear power, "No Thanks" sticker.
Create a mascot
The earth likes to exist. It is happy and content, creates energy, raw materials and warmth and has enough for everyone.

Invent a catchy slogan
The earth is rich and has much to give. Everyone should have the right to take something from it. Why think into an unknown future and limit yourself when everything is available now? The eternal pessimism should have an end. We want warm apartments, raspberries in winter and holidays in the Caribbean. Treat yourself - the motto is: Enjoy the Planet!
The exclamation mark as well as the capital letters are to remind of the war poster "We Can Do It" from 1943.
A logo for this information campaign
As this is a campaign on a controversial scientific topic, it should be backed by a competent sender - not just the White House, but a scientific institute. So a government-affiliated institute for climate research was founded with the name "Economy First", because the sender is Donald Trump. Since Trump cannot argue with "America First" in other countries, this keyword was globalized into "Economy First".
Logo and typography support the neutral, strictly scientific approach. The letters E and F visualize a shelf system, because the institute works analytically, according to methods of systematic investigation. The serif font creates consistency and trust. The impression should be created that the institute has been working for decades.
